1971 Royal Australian Air Force Official Post Office First Day Cover

Official Post Office first day cover commemorating the Royal Australian Air Force 1921-1971, issued on 9 June 1971. The illustrated cream envelope features uniformed aircrew, an Australia 6c stamp and a Bankstown NSW first day of issue cancellation.

Preloved paper ephemera with brown spotting, foxing, age-related discolouration, minor edge and corner wear, and small creases. The stamp has staining and an irregularity at its lower-left edge. The cover is shown closed, so the interior and flap adhesive have not been inspected.
