Ruby Brand combination sharpening stone marked Silicon Carbide, supplied with its printed two-piece cardboard box. The stone has two broad working faces that appear to differ in texture.
The stone shows surface residue, discolouration, lighter marks and use-related rubbing, including a small pale patch on one face. The original box is heavily soiled and stained, with faded rubbed printing and frayed, crushed and split edges and corners.
