Vintage Parkes Birmingham Solid Steel Hoe Head is a metal hoe blade with a broad flat face, curved working edge and a top socket or strap-style handle mount.
Stamped markings near the upper section include SOLID STEEL and PARKES BIRMINGHAM, with additional unclear numbers or characters and a possible emblem resembling two feet. The blade shows heavy surface rust and oxidation, dark aged patina, edge wear, pitting and surface abrasion. No handle is present; the head was made to be fitted to a handle.
